I tend not to overthink or over complicate my training and racing. I love the simplicity of running and generally approach the sport with the same mindset. Much of what I have learned has been through many hard lessons from many challenging running experiences. I hope to share some of these, from a non-doctor, non-professional, and certainly non-expert of the sport. I give a lot of credit to the running coaches that have helped me run countless marathons, qualify for Boston, and level up to distances beyond 26.2. Special thanks to Margie Shapiro (badass Tri athlete turned coach) and Mike Fox (best friend turned nutritionist turned police officer).
